This article describes how to restore/reset the side panels in the Search and Intray tabs in VC if they are no longer showing.
More Information:
During the use of VC, the side panels in either the Search or Intray tabs can be moved and sometimes lost. Should this happen, the below steps can be taken to restore these panels back to their default positions.
This process is able to be used if you find that you are missing either of the following side panels:
For the Intray tab:
- Index
- Intrays
- Packs
- VC Viewer
For the Search tab:
- Search Criteria
- Packs
- Wórkiro
How to restore the side panels:
In the top left corner of VC the is a cog icon that opens the VC menu when clicked.
- Click on the cog icon.
- Mouse over the "User Settings" sub menu.
- Click on the "Reset Saved Window Layout Positions (Requires Restart)" option.
This will tell the software to reset all the side panels back to the default positions and will require a restart of the VC software to clear the saved position data it is currently using.
Click the ok button on the dialog box then close VC off and reopen it. Once you have VC open again you should find that your side panels are now back in the positions they were when VC was first installed.
