This document explains how to locate a document that has been published to the portal and retract it, so that the recipient can no longer view it.
Step 1: Open the Search Tab and Locate the Cabinet
Go to the Search tab along the top of the screen to begin locating your document.
On the left-hand side, select the appropriate cabinet where the document is stored. You can search using the index fields, or, if you know a keyword or the document name, use the search bar at the top.
Step 2: Filter for Documents Published to the Portal
Within the selected cabinet, scroll down to find the tick box labelled Publish To The Portal and select it.
Run the search. This will return all documents in that cabinet that have been published to the portal.
Step 3: Open the Portal Publishing Window
From the search results, locate the document you wish to retract. Either click the cloud icon next to the document, or right-click the document and choose Portal Publishing. For this process, click the cloud icon to open the Portal Publishing window.
Step 4: Review Current Recipients and Document Status
In the Portal Publishing window, locate the current recipients panel on the left-hand side.
Click the relevant recipient’s name. You will see the document details, including its status (for example, whether it is for signature and whether it has been read).
Step 5: Retract the Document
With the appropriate recipient and document selected, click the Retract option. After a few moments, the document will be retracted, the cloud icon will disappear, and the recipient will no longer be able to see the document in the portal.
