FAQ - How do I know if I am using "Exchange Online"

You may have received an email from us recently regarding updating your Email Capture System so that it can continue operating with the upcoming Office 365 Account Authentication changes from Microsoft

You will only need to do this if you are using Exchange Online for your organisation, usually your IT Department will be able to tell you if you are using Exchange Online or not, however if you are unsure, you can follow the steps below to find out;

• Firstly, start Outlook and Log into your Email Account
• Then Navigate to your TaskBar (1) Hold the CTRL key which right clicking the Outlook Icon in the Notification Area (2)
• Then click “Connection Status…” (3)

• Now you should be looking at an “Outlook Connection Status” window, scroll this all the way to the right, we’re looking to take note of the “Version” in this column

• The Version Number shown in this column corresponds with the Version of Exchange noted below, if your version corresponds with Office 365 Exchange Online then you will need to Upgrade your Email Capture system with us;
