Summary
Virtual Cabinet uses SQL Server to handle the meta data of the documents you file and has supported various versions of SQL depending on which version of VC you are using. Below is a breakdown of which versions of SQL are supported by which versions of Virtual Cabinet.
Versions Supported
The first thing that should be said is that the all versions of VC should work with either SQL Express or Full SQL. It would just depend on size of the database as to which one you would need. If your database instance is below 10Gb in size, then you would be able to use SQL Express (this limit is only 5Gb for SQL 2005). If your database instance is above 10Gb (or 5Gb for SQL 2005), then you would need to use Full SQL.
