Install/Uninstall the Office Addin

More Information:

Show the user how to install the addin/uninstall the add-in from the client. Situations where you might be useful:

1. Add-in is not present in Outlook, Excel, Power point or Word.                                                                       
2. Add-in has disappeared from Outlook, Excel, Power point or Word.
   
   
3. New user has been set-up.

Solution:

1. Close all office programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
   
   
2. Open Virtual Cabinet by double clicking on the Virtual Cabinet icon:
   
   
   
   
3. Once the client has loaded:
   a. Locate the cog at the top left-hand side of Virtual Cabinet.
   
   
   
   
   b. Open the cog and select Microsoft Office Addin.
       i. From there you can choose to install or uninstall the Addin, if you get a dialog box
       asking for username and password, go to the Notes section of this document.
   
   
   
   

   Notes:

   If when clicking on the Install Office Addin button (C.i) you receive a dialog box asking you to enter Admin Credentials:
   
   
   You will need to log a support call, and inform your IT support, as it will require both your IT support and Virtual Cabinet to resolve.
