The Virtual Cabinet Office Addin will need to be installed before proceeding. Install/Uninstall the Office-Addin

How to enable the Indexing Pane

The Virtual Cabinet Indexing Pane for Outlook can be enabled by following the steps below.

Any changes in this way will need to be made on a per user basis.

  1. Firstly log into Outlook as normal and click on the Addin tab.


     
  2. Then click on the options button as shown below.

  3. Then click on the General tab.


     
  4. You can switch the Indexing Pane on by checking the box against “Show Indexing Pane” as shown below and then clicking save.

How to Show/Hide the Indexing Pane

Once the Indexing Pane has been enabled as per the steps above, it can be either shown or hidden in e-mails by following the steps below.

  1. Start by opening any e-mail, then click on the Virtual Cabinet Tab.
     
  2. Then click on the “Indexing Pane Show/Hide” button as shown below.
